FIRST MEETING OF THE STEERING COMMITTEE (COPIL) OF THE PROJECT IN PENJA

The day after the project launch workshop, the first meeting of the Project Steering Committee (COPIL) took place in Penja. This meeting made it possible first of all to introduce the members of the COPIL to the project team, and vice versa, then to define a joint agenda for the first year of the project activities, taking into account the constraints of the sector. pepper (harvest periods, etc.).

This first meeting was a success; these meetings, which will take place twice a year, will ensure the involvement and collaboration of the main stakeholders of the project, as well as the alignment of programming with other programs active in the pepper sector in Cameroon, in particular PAMPIG2 , funded by AFD – Agence Française de Développement and coordinated by OAPI. The meeting was followed by a visit to the plantations by Mr. METOMO, President of the IGPP.
