Cameroon’s National Plant Protection Organisation (NPPO) is preparing for the mango campaign, and has developed a system approach that includes all procedures and practices to be adopted before, during and post-harvest by different stakeholders in the value chain to avoid fruit fly-contaminated mango batches. In order to operationalise the practices described in the dossier, a remote workshop was organised on Wednesday 13 May with the various private and public stakeholders.
The objective of this workshop was to identify the actions to be taken to ensure the different elements of the dossier are put into practice, the responsibilities, and the timing of implementation. The workshop was facilitated by Mr Guy Wamba, COLEACP expert.
